I agree with Dr Dean... Kill the Bill... But not the plan...
Obama is now talking about the US going "Bankrupt" because of health care costs....that makes health care a "budget issue"...and THEREFORE....subject to "Reconciliation" in the Senate...
Just like how Bush passed his tax cuts for the rich... with 51 votes in the Senate...by reconciliation!
Remember, about 50% of all health care spending comes from Medicare and Medicaid and VA... already... So the "government take over" has been there for years...and in most cases it's single payer...and beloved by those receiving it...!
Kill the Bill... Then go for Single Pay by Reconciliation...in the Senate...
Everyone knows that this is how the story ends... Why delay the inevitable...make American competitive with EVERY OTHER industrialized nation...in one vote...now!
Or...let the slow collapse continue...indefinitely...
We need a Profile in Courage from the White House...to do the painful transition to the future... Yes...It is scary...
But the current "no-plan" of slow economic death is even scarier...
