Nothing like a road block and a pat down search to stop the beheadings!
This lock down of Baghdad reminds me of the elections...when security was tight and things settled down. It's hard to understand what's going on in Iraq these days.
But somehow I don't think closing the city down for long periods is the answer... The insurgents and the criminal elements don't challenge check points... They want to fight on their turf and terms.
How long can you lock down a city of 6 million people...?
