All Hell could break loose in Baghdad tomorrow...as the city is put under lock down...and the militias finally can clash openly in a close in urban setting...
This seems like a very high risk move by the Bush Administration...sort of a last ditch attempt to defeat the Iraqis once and for all...
All or Nothing at all really.
If the city explodes into sectarian violence...and a general chaos, who knows were it will end...
And bombing from the air could be problematic in an urban setting... Massacres on a scale unprecedented could occur.
Better have those heliocopters ready in the Green Zone...just in case it all goes haywire. Shades of Saigon!
Between the Dubya's bizzaro "surprise" trip today...and the coming insane Battle for Baghdad tomorrow...I question whether someone in Washington may not have taken leave of their senses...
