Any shed of news can be hyped into a rally. And if all else fails a "brokerage upgrade" or a stock buy-back can be announced...
Still, everything Bernanke talked about...is still a drag on the markets...and a whole lot more that the B-Man has not yet got the courage to talk about.
The Trade Deifict. The total de-industrialization of the US economy, (no one dares touch that little factoid!). The ill-advised tax cuts. The unfunded and disasterous optional wars. The dependance on China for goods and money. And the corruption that is the very essence of the K-Street Kongress these days...
...Not even Bernanke can't go there.
