For Crissakes already...Friedman's NYT "Geo-Greenism" op-ed makes as much sense as his "flat world economy." Friedman is making less sense than David Brooks these days...and that's tough to do!
Kinda makes you glad the NYT went to a "pay service" for the editorial pages...! Now no one reads the editorials and the op-eds...!

You are NOT missed by most people...
But, the Times still "gives away" the good stuff; in travel, books, arts, business, house and home, food and dining...all free except for the dull editorial page...which has become a huge bore ever since it became a pay service!
The Times should realize that most people in the US and indeed the world COULD NOT BUY A COPY OF THE NYT...even if they wanted to...and that is millions of readers lost to the Times op-ed and editorial writers.
The Times should give away the editorials and op-eds; and make the rest of the paper a paid service...
