The US Auto industry is in the process of shutting down...
It will be the last big industry to go... And it will mark the transition of the US into a totally deindustrialized economy.
What we need now is a New Keynes to explain it all to us...
EXACTLY how does this type of economy sustains itself...? The American economy is totally free trade based and completely capital-centric...with little or no concern for it's workers well being.
If the new deindustrialized US economy is NOT explained...quickly...?
There could be a political backlash as the rural and southern working classes realize that Wall Street NOT GAYS is their real problem...
This is already happening in Latin America where the lurch to the left is well established.
