It appears that Israel has stolen a play from the Neocons...
SHOCK AND AWE...!
The apparent lack of deaths from the recent bombing campaign in Gaza indicated that, like the US in Baghdad, Israel is bombing open fields and empty buildings... The entire effort seems to be designed around making a lot of noise and causing inconvenience...for example, like the US, Israel knocked out water and electricity for the civilian population...
Of course Baghdad isn't Gaza...! Baghdad is huge...and it's infrastructure was diverse.
But the end result is the same... A seriously angry and piss-off population!
Shock and Awe did not work in Baghdad and it will not work in Gaza.
Israel need only read today's headlines to see the effectiveness of Shock and Awe for the Neocons...
Israel is still afraid to implement the "final solution" which is the expulsion of all Arabs from the West Bank and Gaza...yet they are unwilling to implement the "two state solution" which would forever forego any hope of re-establishing "Biblical Israel" as defined in the Bible of ancient times...
The real problem is Israel...not the Palestinians... Need Proof? The Palestinians would gladly accept peacekeeping troops to implement the two state solution...
Israel will not accept peacekeepers...because it can not get international approval for it's "final solution" namely the establishment of "Biblical Israel" on the
"annexed" West Bank and Gaza...
Hence the constant "flare ups" as Israel provokes...is attacked...then provokes again.
My view is Israel should either give the Palestinians their state on the West Bank and Gaza...OR EXPELL THEM NOW!
THIS CAT AND MOUSE GAME HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR FAR TOO LONG!
