One thing that the HEALTH CARE advocates may be missing is that the US MIGHT NOT ALWAYS SPEND 15 % OF GDP ON HEALTH CARE!
JUST MAYBE, AT SOME POINT, AMERICANS WILL SOBER UP, AND JUST GO WITH THE CANADIAN MODEL OF NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE.
JUST MAYBE, WE WILL BE SANE ENOUGH TO GET HEALTH CARE SPENDING DOWN TO THE GLOBAL AVERAGE OF ABOUT 8% OF GDP.
OR, ARE AMERICAN TOO STUPID FOR THAT?
WELL, I NEVER UNDER-ESTIMATE THE STUPIDITY OF THE AMERICAN PUBLIC!
