The Republicans seem to be stewing in their own juice these days.
Consider;
The way to make REPUBLICAN STEW seems to be:
Add equal parts of GREED, FEAR AND HATE.
Smear on a large tablespoon of LIES.....and then let simmer for four
years, or until done.
Season to taste depending on which part of the country you live in!
Yesterday's performance at The Garden seemed, well, kinda sad.....
IT WAS, SORT OF, ALL EVIL, ALL WAR, ALL THE TIME.
The lastest nuance for dealing with Muslims seems to be: Kill More of
Them!
Indeed, listening to Mc Cain yesterday, and David Brooks in the
NYT on Sunday,........you'd think that official US policy for the
next four years is:
The only good Muslim is a dead Muslim!
Still, there must be a better way! For example, why not "hire"
teachers for Muslim Madrassas, who are "moderates." You know
kinda "endow a teacher" for Muslim Youth Education.
Why not PUBLISH MODERATE MUSLIM WRITERS, in the Middle East, IN
ARABIC OR THE NATIVE LANGUAGE. AND THEN LET MADISION AVE. ADVERTISE
THEM AS THE NEW "BEST SELLERS."
The point is;
THE WAY TO WIN MUSLIM HEARTS AND MINDS IS NOT WITH THE POINT OF A
BAYONETTE, OR WITH A 1000 POUND BOMB! That is a non-starter.
Worse yet, the US is filling up with Muslim Immigrants now!
And, these new Muslim Americans are really taking over in the area
SMALL BUSINESS. Convenience Stores, Gas Stations, Small Bakeries,
and all of the still existing Mom and Pop stores and shops really!
Where are the American Shopkeepers? Probably out looking for a job!
WITH BENEFITS!
And, these New Muslims are going to be necessary to provide the
Needed Workers; that American's "liberated' women forgot to have
during their prime child bearing years!
Yes, the birth dearth problem looms large.
AND, MC CAIN'S ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS SPEECH WAS JUST OVER THE TOP
YESTERDAY.
But I consider McCain to be one of the most OVER-RATED Politicans in
the US these days. I mean if your really look at his so
called "policies;" he's just another dull "blue shirt and tie" on the
tube.
And alas, the fact that Kerry will probably be mentioned more times
than Dubya at the Republican Convention tells you a lot.
NAMELY, THAT DUBYA HAS NO RECORD TO RUN ON!
AND HIS ONLY HOPE IS TO TRASH KERRY AT EVERY POINT;
KERRY SAID AMERICANS COMMITTED ATROCITIES IN VIETNAM! KERRY OPPOSED
THE VIETNAM WAR!
So, was Kerry wrong or right about Vietnam?
Does Dubya now hold that the Iraq Prison Abuse Scandel of late,
DIDN'T HAPPEN EITHER?
WELL, WHY NOT!
JUST THROW ANOTHER BIG LIE INTO THE REPUBLICAN STEW! THEN LET
IT SIMMER.......
All the Republican Delegates seem to have these wan and sickly smiles
frozen on their faces, which, of course, goes well with their "Blue
Hair."
And, of course, I can hardly wait for ZELL MILLER to inspire us
during his keynote address with his SAD AND TWISTED LOGIC that only
he and a few true believers can decipher!
PASS OUT THE BARF BAGS FOR THAT ONE!
UHG!........I THINK I'VE HAD TOO MUCH "REPUBLICAN STEW!"
Postscript: And, Michael Moore LOOK GREAT yesterday in the
convention press area, where he was actually singled out by a
speaker.
Hmmm.... I think, in Mr Moore's case, television actually has a
slight "slimming effect."
Ya think..........?
