you're going to love the next four years!!
VERY LIKELY OUR NEW ZELLWORLD WILL BE SIMPLY THIS: THE RICH GET
RICHER, AND THE POOR JOIN THE ARMY!
Of course, it's way too early to do a complete autopsy on this
election cycle, but a few key details do stand out.
The Republicans now have an unholy combination of: THE RICH AND THE
STUPID which comprise their "base." Hmmm...The Rich and the Stupid?
Sounds like a good soap opera title.....
This has dangerous proto-fascist possiblities for the future
however. We shall see.....
I actually knew early on that Kerry was seriously "not connecting"
with the rural rednecks in flyover country;
And that "the stupids" everywhere really felt that Dubya was their
kinda guy.....
None of this is capable of ration explanation. Still, you
know, the human race is not really rational. Sometimes
the liberal "eggheads" forget this little historical tidbit.
Still, I simply had to advocate for Kerry to be "rational." I
figured that ECONOMICS AND GEO-POLITICS MIGHT TRUMP "VALUES AND
MORALS."
But, Apparently not.
So, now the BUSH STUPIDS will suffer mightily for the next four years
with job losses, no health care, unaffordable prescription drugs,
social secrity cuts, and their kids off dying in some Hellhole in the
sands of Araby, for God only knows what and for how long! Sad really.
WHERE WILL THIS END?
Well, who knows at this point. Will Bush persue his incredible "War
on Islam," or will lack of money stop him?
Will Osama strike again now that he has Bush "in the ring" for four
more years?
Will global investors pull their money out of the US, and thus
collapse the dollar?
What of our outrageous Trade and other Deficits?
ONE THING IS CLEAR: WHATEVER "FRESH HELL" AWAITS US, WE WILL HAVE
THE PERFECT "WHIPPING BOY" IN GEORGE W. BUSH! FOR FOUR MORE YEARS!
Saturday Nite Live rejoice! Leno! Letterman! And also Ms Dowd, Mr
Krugman, Friedman, etal, and editorialists and bloggers everywhere!
We are spared the necessity of finding a New MoJo! Phew....that was
close.
And, in an odd way, Kerry was "lucky" to lose! But of course he
won't see it that way......maybe in his old age he'll see it.
Consider:
So many of America's problems are deeply structual.
Yet so many are self-inflicted by the greed of the elites, and the
incredible stupidity of the American people.
SO, WHAT FRESH HELL COMES OUR WAY.....? WELL, STAY TUNED!
