When the tragedy struck on Sunday, Dubya stayed publically silent on the disaster until Wednesday!
What was he doing all that time?
Fiddling? Drinking? Asking God if or how he should respond to an "Act of God!"
Was Carl Rove on vacation? What? What?
True, it must be hard to be "God's Messenger on Earth."
After all, what does God's Messenger say about an "Act of God!"
"I'm Sorry?" Why bother? Why not just stay silent?
Dubya didn't have to come out on Sunday with exact dollar amounts of relief aid.
Even that attempt was too strange to be believed.
Why start right off with a "low ball" dollar amount! Really Really Odd!
A simple statement from the Western White House to the effect that:
"We are on this tragedy. And, we are now sending high level people to the disaster area to coordinate with local rescue operations. I have called all the national leaders in the region to express my condolences, and I have promised to assist in any way."
