The jobs report stinks. The only good points are if you're looking for a restaurant job! Government was punk. Manufacturing? You guessed it. Structural, totally structural!
Business services, ie temps and part timers....up a little bit.
NO WONDER WALMART CAN'T SELL ANYTHING TO AMERICA'S NEW WORKING POOR!
Also the HOSANNA NUMBER for October was revised down by about 30,000.
So, my "prediction" of 86,000 jobs, may be right even yet! Wait for the revision in January!
Frankly, this economy just doesn't feel like it's really creating jobs. Sure, there is some churning and revolving door action going on in an economy the size of the US.
But creating jobs? Real jobs? No, I don't think so. The only thing really booming is the AMERICAN OUT-SOURCING AND OFF-SHORING "INDUSTRY"
Additionally, I question the accuracy of the statistics. Especially since we are in a BRAVE NEW WORLD where THE CHINESE COMMUNISTS ARE THE "MOST IMPORTANT COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!"
WELL, I SUPPOSE YOUNG PEOPLE CAN JUST JOIN THE ARMY NOW! PLENTY OF DEMAND FOR HELP IN IRAQ!
Because jobs stink, and it's starting to feed into the mentality of consumers....and in the retail numbers.
Know this 2005 could be the start of a real recession! The one we should have had before Greenspan when HYPER!
AS IN HYPER-LIQUIDITY! THE G-MAN "CURED" STOCKS AND ALSO SAVED HIS WALL STREET BUBBLE BUDDIES' "UNDER-WATER" OPTIONS SCAMS;
BUT, HE TRASHED THE DOLLAR AND SPIKED OIL TO DO IT!
The US economy, UNDER CURRENT LEADERSHIP, has about as much chance of success as "Chuckie" Allawi has of "democratizing" Iraq!
THE PHRASE: "ALL DOWN HILL FROM HERE" SEEMS TO APPLY TO BOTH THE GLOBAL ECONOMY AND IRAQI DEMOCRACY!
