Life's a Beach again for the American Consumer. Confidence is up. Gas is down. And God's Messenger on Earth is running Washington! What's not to like?
Well, we learned one thing in South Asia this week. Tsunamis can happen without warning!
In the case of American Consumer Confidence, the PLUNGING DOLLAR is something that has the potential to become A GLOBAL CURRENCY TSUNAMI, if something isn't done soon.
Still, there are no credible solutions for the problem on offer. Dubya & Co are merely saying: LET IT HAPPEN! Again no "early warning" system for ordinary folks.
Still, a global currency tsunami could mean economic death for millions. Perhaps it behooves the rich to show a little compassion for these poor folks who still think that: LIFE'S A BEACH!
As to the REAL TSUNAMI in Asia; it now appears that the death toll will surpass that of Japan when the A-Bombs where dropped in 1945. Then, about 200,000 died instantly.
Since many island chains are now totally wiped off the face of the earth.....it's very possible that entire populations are still unaccounted for in the death totals!
ALAS, WHAT MOST AMERICANS DON'T YET REALIZE IS THAT LIFE IS NEVER A BEACH!
