This is understandable on the day after Christmas, when everyone's still on a sugar high with triglycerides that are likely "off the charts,"
So, "a little rest" is well deserved--and probably in order.
Indeed, if a Great Earthquake caused a Tidal Wave that wiped out Thousands, it probably won't even be mentioned today.
Perhaps, for one day The Politics of Happy Face can hold sway on the media.
