The big neocon fallacy is that it's about Bin Laden
....it isn't.
Bin Ladenism is merely a symptom of the now obsolete Cold War policy of the US in the region
...and the open ended support of a Greater Israel on the West Bank.....
As to these "repressive governments" and autocracies.....most of them are still on the dole from US taxpayers!
I don't mind neocon lies....but Jeezzz....at least keep your story straight....and consistant.
Neocons bemoan Egypt and the House of Saud.....but they can't live without them.
It would be a lot easier to tell Egypt and the Saudis to democratize or else......
Rather than invading ONLY the anti-Israel regimes in the middle east which smacks of a "hidden agenda."
But my hunch is that Dubya's taste for democracy might slacken once the Iraqi election results are finally in.....stay tuned.
