Tom Friedman is obviously losing it on Bin Laden......
First, he assumes that Bin Laden is behind all of the troubles in the middle east; and that capturing or killing him would accomplish anything......at all!
In Truth, It would, of course, make matters worse.....much, much worse.
THE MARTYRDOM OF BIN LADEN WOULD BE THE WORST POSSIBLE THING FOR WORLD PEACE AND SECUITY AT THIS POINT. Why?
Bin Laden is really the symbol of Muslim exasperations and anger with how the world, and especially the West, has treated them for the past many years.
And, the worst offenders have been the US and Israel,....according to most Muslims, indeed every Muslim, except for those few Quislings with an "agenda," and their names and motives are well known in the western media.
Or, put another way, Osama is merely a symptom, and not the cause of the current problems effecting the middle east.
Or, put EVEN another way: If Osama didn't exist.....the Muslims would have to invent him!
Just as Hitler was a symptom of Germany's "diseased society" in the 1920's and 30's, so too Bin Laden merely SYMBOLIZES the MUSLIM DILEMMA today.
Do you understand this so far....?
Furthermore, those two Muslim girls that Friedman interviewed IN PARIS last week....are the real enemy!
So why not put a bounty on them.....?
Because those two girls are BIN LADEN BELEIVERS!
They are the REAL EMEMIES of the US and Israel!
BECAUSE, WHEN YOU HAVE TRUE BELEIVERS?
THE LEADERSHIP IS MERELY A CONVENIENT SYMBOL.
EVEN A JACKASS WOULD WORK JUST AS WELL!
KILL BIN LADEN...?
AND YOU HAVE A MARTYR FOR THE MUSLIM WORLD FOR ALL THE AGES.
NOT UNLIKE WHAT THE ROMANS DID TO JESUS......yes, I know that is shocking, but it is also true at some level.......

St Paul "made" the Jesus we know today, as all Christian Scholars know well......in truth, Jesus had very little to do with it!
So too, with Bin Laden;
Solve the underlying problems of our OLD US BACKED COLD WAR AUTOCRACIES....
AND THE PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD ISSUE.....
AND BIN LADEN WILL BECOME IRRELEVANT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.........GARUANTEED.
Friedman should know that $50 million spent on killing Bin Laden WILL NOT STOP BIN LADENISM.
....IT WILL ONLY MAKE IT
STRONGER.....MUCH STRONGER.
And, Friedman's bizarro fantasy of Muslims turning in BinLaden, and dancing on his grave....and denouncing him in public.....is just too embarssingly naive and nutty to even merit a comment.......
Except to say that if Friedman really believes his own nonsense....it's no wonder he has been so intellectually disoriented lately.....
Read a little history....or if Friedman is just going to spew propaganda for the Neocon's; at least have the decency to put on a "Disclaimer."
THIS IS A PAID POLITICAL ADVERTISMENT FROM THE LIKUD PARTY......AND THE NEOCONS.
Because the time for fantasy is long over.
And only the very dull and uninformed are buying what Friedman has been selling today.....
