Dubya's message to the world yesterday was simply more:
SWORD ANd SORCERY POLITICS.
More sword-play in the middle east.
And more Sorcery with the Budget and Social Security accountancy.
Like all conservatives Dubya has to rely heavily on THE FLAG AND PLATITUDES to produce something resembling "a message."
And like most conservatives anywhere, and even on this board; Dubya really has nothing helpful to say, but by God, he's going to say it!
Sen.Reid's reference to "God" in the rebuttal was interesting. Slowly, the Democrats are making progress on "The God Thing." Which is really their version of the Bush Family's "Vision Thing."
Still my sense is that there are enough "grown-ups" around to keep the Republican Sword and Sorcery Crowd under control.
REALITY STILL HAS SOME SUPPORT.
