The Bush Brothers are being justly criticized
by the Religious Right for not taking custody of Terri Schaivo.
But the best way for the Bush family to get back to their "base" would be to order a State Funeral for Schaivo in the capitol....with full military honors.
I would certainly expect Dubya to attend and make a speech at Terri's funeral when the time comes....because any further "ignoring" of the religious right by the Bush Brothers will seriously undermine their credibility among the Bible Belt Republicans.
Terri Schaivo is the only Citizen to ever have a "special law" passed by Congress for her personal benefit.....this historic achievement deserves to be honored.
Even the corrupted defense contractors have to line up at the Congressional trough for their "goodies." So Terri is a special person deserving of a full State Funeral by decree of the Bush Administration.
THE BUSH BROTHERS HAVE TOTALLY FAILED THE RELIGIOUS RIGHT IN THE SCHIAVO CASE....AND SOME AMENDS SEEM TO BE IN ORDER.
After the funeral, the parents of Terri Schiavo should be given the Medal of Freedom like Paul Bremer and others who have fought for the Republican cause.
Delay and Bush should be forced to embrace the Religious Right's cause of "Life, no matter what." .....No matter what.
And Kudos to Krugman for rubbing the Bush Brothers' noses in the Schiavo mess.....don't let up!
