The nomination of Roberts to the Supreme Court is probably the result of the Rove Flap and the War in Iraq going badly.
DUBYA'S POPULARITY HAS BEEN IN DECLINE....AND ANY MORE CONTROVERSY, AT THIS POINT, COULD PUT DUBYA INTO A PUBLIC RELATIONS TAIL SPIN.
.....JUST IN TIME FOR THE 2006 ELECTIONS, WHICH WILL LIKELY NOT BE GOOD FOR REPUBLICANS IN GENERAL....
Clearly, Roberts' "thin record" means he can't be "Borked." And his tenure on the Washington Appeals Court has been very brief.
Politically, Roberts seems TOTALLY BLUE.
