Dubya says that he's bringing democracy to the middle east
...and to Iraq in particular...but consider:
The Grand Poobah Sistani has just made it a "sin" NOT to vote for the new Constitution for Iraq...so now the Shia will vote en block for the Constitution...and the Sunni will likely abstain again from voting.
Somehow this does not seem to be the kind of democracy that Dubya had planned in Iraq...Democracy by FATWA!.... I mean these Shia are as bad as the American "religious right."
Finally, the Saudis have been warning all in the administration who will listen that IRAQ IS FALLING APART...AND REGIONAL WAR MAY BE THE RESULT.
IT IS STARTING TO BECOME CLEAR THAT THE NEOCON GOALS IN THIS "OPTIONAL WAR" ARE GETTING MORE FANCIFUL BY THE DAY!
