Kristof NYTimes op-ed yesterday
was similar to my posting here that pollsters should ask a "qualifying question" to see if the person being polled knows what they are talking about...
Kristof notes that 20% of Americans still think that the Sun goes around the Earth...
And half believe that dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time... Hey, what about the Flintstones!
And about the same number don't "believe in evolution....."
On a "bright note" Kristof says American can always go to Bangladore for our "techies." Hmmm...he's been reading to much of Friedman's stuff!
Still, my conclusion is that anyone with an IQ above 110 should be looking for another country to live in...! It's bad enough that American's are ugly and fat...but now we know that they are incredibly stupid as well! So Sad really.
