The markets are so "managed" these days... Now Wall Street has it's rinse cycle...again!
As to those retail sales numbers today...I sense that most folks don't realize how much Walmart dominates the economies of small and medium sized towns.
Most businesses in small and medium sized towns have gone out of business: IF they compete directly with Walmart...
So, Walmart is really a "proxy" for itself and the regional and local economy...
Because, beyond Walmart there is no local "retail economy" in many places nowadays...
And AMAZINGLY, in many depressed rural areas...Walmart Workers are now the EMPLOYED ELITES!!
YEAH, IT'S THAT BAD OUT IN FLY OVER COUNTRY!
