Yet that is the desperate yada-yada among the Republican stra-te-jurists...for the 06 elections.
The notion being that Bubba so hates Gays, Blacks, Loose Women and Hollywood that he would rather sit home than vote Democratic.
Perhaps, but I doubt it..
And Hey, Brokeback and Capote DIDN'T WIN! And that helps defuse yet another Republican Hot Botton issue...Gay Hollywood!
Furthermore, the recent transition of the Supreme Court to the conservatives...DEPRIVES REPUBLICANS of yet another Key Hot Button Issue: "Activist Liberal Judges." Alas, now even THAT is off the table for Bubba in 2006...
What's on the table?
Try...oh say, pensions, retirement, jobs, wages, outsourcing, immigration, the war, the screw-ups of the administration, the tax cuts for the rich and the bankrupting of the Federal Government, the cuts in social spending to help students and their parents...etc. etc. etc.
So, exactly why will Bubba stay home in November?
Republicans are whistling pasted the graveyard here...
And the decline in Bush's approval rateing has a long long way to fall before the election-because the screw-ups just keep on comin'...
