Now, the US ally in Lebanon is SUPPOSEDLY France, which had colonial interests in old Lebanon...!

It appears that the Neocon "delusion du jour" is that somehow the west is going to fight the Islamists by re-instating "enlightened" neo-colonial rule in the various middle eastern states...!

This is more or less desperation geopolitics kicking in in Washington...as the entire middle east spirals out of control...and the Necons remain in denial about the disaster they have caused throughout the region...
So does this mean that France fights Israel in Lebanon....? Or that Condi shakes hands with the Prime Minister of Lebanon only to stall for a while so more bombs can be shipped to Israel?
NOTHING GOOD CAN COME OF THIS...BUT IT SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO WATCH...
