My hunch is that the Temple Mount is going to be "in play" before this is over.
The Temple Mount is the Alpha and Omega of the middle east crisis... And Israel would be foolish not to take advantage of this opportunity to "re-build" the Temple...
The notion of "Arab States" pressuring Syria to stop supporting Hezbollah is interesting... But will the rising Shia Power Bloc abandon Hisbollah? I doubt it.
This is exactly the fight the RADICALS ON ALL SIDES have been wanting to have...
And especially now for the Islamists, with Israel condemned by world opinion, and the lame Bush Administration tied down in wars of attrition all over the Muslim world...
This would be the perfect time for the Hezbollah exteremists to strike...because the US could "go moderate" after the November elections...as war weary American vote for peace...
SO, BOTH SIDES WANT THIS FIGHT...! LET IT RIP...
