The markets are seeking relief in the "rumor" that Israel will "stop it's offensive" soon...
But how? Israel simply must invade Lebanon now...to consolidate whatever it sought in the first place...
Merely trashing the place...and pissing off the entire Muslim world...accomplishes nothing. What was it all about in the first place...?
Just a release of some kind of rage...? Or the establishment of the new Israeli governments "credentials" as Arab fighters?
Israel has poured fuel on the fire...and they simply can not stop now. They will be attacked immediately after they stop bombing...and they likely know this.
Arab rage is boiling over in places like Iraq and Iran...
If Israel stops now...it's the Americans in Iraq that will feel the wrath of the united Shia bloc which Israel attacked in Lebanon...
ISRAEL SIMPLY MUST INVADE AND OCCUPY LEBANON NOW...IT'S THE ONLY LOGICAL CONCLUSION TO THIS IRRATIONAL SITUATION...
