The "Google Story" later today could be The Big Mover for the markets going forward.
Google is one of the last "story stocks" left standing...(alas Poor Yahoo!), and the entire market these days seems to be trading off of "stories."
The grim reality of a weak dollar, rising rates and deficits out of control is simply too unpleasant...
Hence the markets need for stories. The Bernanke "pause" is one story that the Street trades off of regularly.
The thing about stories is that they may or may not have anything to do with reality...
And sooner or later reality trumps stories...as so many investors saddly discover.
