I've been traveling for the last week...and the things I've seen and heard across America are quite distrubing... The entire country seems to be in some kind of downward spiral...
The "structural" problems that we have all feared are finally coming to the forefront in the most disturbing ways.
My hunch is that EVEN the Happy Land of Wall Street will have to take notice soon.
America seems to be a place of outward prosperity...but inwardly there is nothing but dispare, hopelessness and a since of gloom about the future...
Why are we "living off" our savings and "house equity?"
Why is everyone every where talking about real estate constantly...when house listings and prices are at record levels...yet no one is buying?
Why are we only creating "jobs" for illegal Mexicans? Do the unemployed really have more time to go shopping?
