The recent bombing of Lebanon and Beirut has cause greater solidarity in the Arab world that ever before. US allies are embarassed to be part of American policies in the middle east...especially went those policies are seen as fostering Zionist resentments against the Arabs and Muslims in the region.
The world is surely NOT safer from "terrorism" now than it was before the Israel outrage in Lebanon... Indeed, the Arab Street is boiling and "moderate" Arab governments are being force to take anti-American positions on the crisis.
