These so called battles between the Shia "government" forces and the Shia of Sadar City are a bit odd. My sense is that we aren't getting anywhere near the full story here.
With the Kurds out of effective control in the north and now threatening Turkey... And the Sunni rebellion in the middle and now the Shia militias fighting the government in the south...
