Osama has a grudge against the House of Saud and their Western supporters the Bush Family... It was Poppy Bush that put troops into Saudi Arabia to fight Saddam...for this Osama never forgave or forgot the Bush family...
So the election of Dubya was like a red flag in the face of Osama & Co...
Some would say that it was Dubya's "unleashing" of Sharon and the Likudnics just prior to 911 that enflamed the Muslim world and Osama...and it did! No doubt...
But, it is also true that Osama was never highly motivate by the plight of the Palestinians at the hands of the Likudnics...
But rather Osama was highly motivated by the supposed "insult" that the Bush family had visited on the "Holy Places" in Saudi Arabia...by the posting of "foreign troops" in the Muslim Holy Land.
We will, of course, never know if the election of Gore would have side tracked or otherwise averted 911 and the WTC disaster...
But I personally reserve my right to say that it would have...
In the Muslim world, it's all about family and clan...not about national policies.
