Clinton's spirited defense on FOX news today should be a lesson to all Defeatocrats...who seem to be Born to Lose!
For some reason the conservative agenda is not looked at too closely...and it is given a "pass" on intellectual rigor whenever possible... But why is this?
It's probably because the rich favor the conservative agenda, and the rich also control the media outlets...ya suppose?
It is unlikely that ANY Democrat could screw up as badly as Bush & Co have and still have any standing in the polls...
If the Democrats were as horrid as Dubya has been the outcry from the conservative media would have been deafening...and the public would have been encouraged to jump into the fray...
SO WE HAVE THE DEMOCRATIC ANOMALY WHERE REPUBLICANS ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE THE MOST DISASTEROUS MISTAKES...AND STILL GET A PASS... REMEMBER WHEN THE MEDIA WERE DECLARING THAT DUBYA "WON" THE DEBATES...EVEN THOUGH HE MERELY STAMMERED OUT SLOGANS AND MANTRAS WITH LITTLE IN THE WAY OF UNDERSTANDING OR EXPLANATION.
YET DEMOCRATS REALLY CAN'T WIN FOR LOSING...THEY ARE NIT-PICKED FROM THE VERY START, BY THOSE WHO SEEK RATHER TO CONFUSE THE PUBLIC, THAN TO EXPLAIN THINGS...
AND OF COURSE THE BRAINLESS BUBBA AMERICANS LOVE IT... THESE FOOLS THINK THEY'RE VOTING FOR JESUS!
It will be interesting to see how historians handle the current domination of the media by the rich...
But we see the results everyday it seems... Elections are held...and if the rich don't like the result...something else happens...
A bad count. A coup. Or as with Hamas and Hizbollah the rich just refuse to accept the results.
My hunch is that the weathy will go back to the tried and true...and forget this democracy thing soon...
The Cold War Era Death Squads were far more effective in getting the rich folks message across.
NONE DARE CALL THIS DEMOCRACY!
And that is why I have quit voting in the last several election cycles...
