Clearly, the Era of Good Feeling is over...
After the fall of the USSR there was a brief Golden Age for Capitalism where Democracy and Free Trade came to the foreground.
That seems to be ending now...
With the lurch to the left in Latin America and with left of center politicians pushing a populist agenda around the globe...it's time for the elites to take off the gloves again.
Much of the easy looting of global economies has been done...
Now the issue is control going forward. The "new democracies" in the middle east, Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan are all something less that models of public bliss. Indeed the only place that is succeeding is Afghanistan...and what they succeeded at was producing a bumper crop of Opium and Heroin for the world markets!
Now there is trouble in Hungary...with people protesting dishonesty and the end of social benefits like health care.
Indeed even in the US there is a sense that the elections are rigged...with the new voting machines being questioned by Democrats and others.
Yet the Defeatocats have no interest in talking about "real issues" like health care and jobs going overseas...as the deficits soar... No, for the Defeatocrats its all WMD all the time...
With the leading antiwar Democratic spokesman being Senator Levin, the Senate's only remaining anti-war Jewish Senator whose really for the war...! Go figure...
The voting public is going to be even more dazed and confused after the elections this fall... Few will notice that something ended...and something else began...
TODAY WITH THE COUP IN THAILAND SOMETHING HAPPEN...SOMETHING THAT CHANGED THE WORLD. FROM NOW ON IT'S NO MORE TALK ABOUT DEMOCRACY IN THE WEST...IT'S BACK TO BRUTE CONTROL BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY...
