The Post Soviet honeymoon is over! Capitalism and Corruption don't solve anything... That is going to be an ongoing geopolitical theme in the near future.
The lurch to the left will continue...around the globe. Amazingly the people don't want "free markets" they want services... That is really what the Hungarian protests are about.
The problem is you can't have social services IF the political elites are looting the economy...as they are doing in almost every country...post-Cold War...INCLUDING THE GRANDADDY OF ALL LOOTERS THE US KONGRESS AND WALL STREET!
What comes next is a post-Communist kind of Socialism which has yet to be invented yet.
This New Socialism will require a re-thinking of what government is...and what the free market is and can and can't do...
NO ONE WANTS THE CHINA CHEAP LABOR MODEL FOR THEIR COUNTRY...YET INTERNATIONAL CAPITAL SEES CHINA AS THE NEW PARADIGM GOING FORWARD!
THE BIG QUESTION OF THE 21ST CENTURY WILL BE: "IS SOCIALISM POSSIBLE?"
SOCIALISM AS CORRUPT COMMUNISM HAS FAILED.
