DON'T RUN OBAMA...UNLESS YOU WANT TO ENGAGE THE ISSUES!

The two people I know won't be Democratic choices for President in 2008 are Hillary and Obama...both are likely to fracture the Democratic and national electorate rather than unite it...

Both could be vice-Presidential picks to great advantage.

They could act as stalking horses for the real Democratic candidate...so they could play an important role...of deking the critics from the real candidate.

My hunch is that the Democrats will go with a Southern Governor...unnamed as yet.

Or, Democrats could do a "Nixon," and go with an experienced candidate like Gore, Kerry or Edwards...

I think that Edwards has the best hand and most to offer right now...

But Kerry could be a nostalgic repeat for a cause that "should have been," but for Ohio's mistake...provided however, he decides to say what he means, and mean what he says for a change...without regard to "the polls."

Gore would have to lose some weight and loosen up a lot...and his radical environmental stance is starting to look a bit too crackpot to many...

And Hillary is too poll oriented with her dilemma of having many Zionists in her New York constituancy who will not accept peace in the middle east through a Palestinian state.

Finally, I think that ANY Democrat that starts talking about REAL ISSUES like health care for all, jobs, exports and the twin deficits WILL BE A HARD PERSON TO BEAT!

WHAT WE NEED IS SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE THE ELECTORATE A "ROSS PEROT" TYPE OF PROGRESSIVISM...

SOMEONE WHO'S SPEECHES HAVE AN: "I DIDN'T KNOW THEY COULD EVEN TALK ABOUT THAT!" QUALITY...SORT OF LIKE PEROT'S SPEECHES DID...REMEMBER?

BUT THE DEFEATOCRATS STILL REFUSE TO ENGAGE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ON THE ISSUES THEY CARE ABOUT...

THE FIRST PERSON WHO DOES THAT...WILL OPEN THE FLOODGATES OF SUPPORT.
