If the US would abandon the occupation...any new government in Baghdad would be seen as truly "Iraqi" and not a creation of US and western interests. The current Green Zone Puppets simply have no chance of being accepted on a national level in Iraq...
An exit strategy would give the Iraqis an opportunity to set up a non-western dominated government of their choosing... Of course it would not be pro-American or pro-Zionist...and that's the real reason we are in Iraq. But will any "real" government in the middle east ever be truly pro-American or pro-Zionist? No Never. Or at least not until the Zionists give up their West Bank dream of Greater Israel in the middle east...
So the beat goes on...and the truth is never told.
