Now Friedman is comparing the insurgency in Iraq with the Tet Offensive in Vietnam...in terms of it's "P.R. Value!"

Vietnam was a fight against an organized enemy with lines of command and control...
Iraq is Chaos on Steroids! It's a war of all against all... I think that's called Anarchy...NOT Civil War. Much of the Iraq "insurgency" is really the local criminal element which is found in many Muslim countries...
After all is said in done in Iraq...we might conclude that Our Man in Baghdad, SADDAM, was doing a pretty darn good job after all!! And won't that be something...? Opps...!
At least Saddam knew how to handle his native sons with an iron fist as needed... We, (the Neocons) could never pull that off...
I know we are NOT "supposed" to say this... It's supposed to be sweetness and light and purple fingers and girls going to school...etc, etc.
But damned, if it isn't true... And the truth is something we may have to confront before this mess is over...
