THE JOBS LIE IN DETAIL...

Nonfarm employment.......+ 92,000

Goods-producing .... -60,000

Construction..... -26,000

Manufacturing........ -39,000

Service-providing..... + 152,000

Retail trade.... -3,000

Professional and business services....+ 43,000

Education and health services.....+ 28,000

Leisure and hospitality....+ 35,000

Government....+ 34,000

I find it utterly absurd that Goverment, Leisure, Health Care and Temps are leading the US economy at this point in the cycle...

But, the notion that REAL JOBS LIKE in manufactuing, construction, and retail continue to plunge....literally off the cliff is truly very scary!!

Or simply put do the blue numbers look real to you...? How can leisure be so strong but retailing so weak...are the rich still vacationing...just not shopping!!

HOW CAN SOME SECTORS BE SO STRONG AND THE REAL SECTORS SO WEAK...?
