The mission in Iraq is changing again...
Now instead of fighting the "Bad Sunnis" we are fighting the "Bad Shia"...with maybe a little fighting for Bad Sunnis on the side...
My hunch is that the REAL WAR in Iraq is just starting...AND IT WILL BE A WAR AGAINST THE SHIA...AND THEIR IRANIAN SUPPORTERS.... AND SOON AGAINST THE KURDISH TERRORISTS IN THE NORTH...PERHAPS WITH THE "HELP" OF OUR NATO ALLY TURKEY... FINALLY, SOME HELP FROM THE "ALLIES!"
THE HOUSE OF SAUD WILL SIMPLY INSIST ON THIS OUTCOME...
Which means Bush has to reverse "de-bathhification" which was a totally stupid policy that was completely ahistorical for an "occupation power." You simply NEVER destroy the old elite without having a new elite to replace them with immediately... But Bush never read history, and his Likudnic/Neocon handlers had their own secret agendas...
THUS BEGINS THE RE-BATHHIFICATION OF IRAQ...WE ARE BACK TO SQUARE ONE...AND BUSH IS COUNTING THE DAYS UNTIL HE CAN LEAVE OFFICE AND PASS HIS MESS TO THE DEMOCRATS....
