Republicans seem to realize that their ability to dupe the electorate with wedge issues like God, Guns and Gays has ended...
But that could be a disaster for Republican prospects going forward... The entire Republican game plan was to distract the public about the economic looting by Wall Street using wedge "social issues" that the Republican elites had no real interest or ability to implement.
While many Southern and red state voters may stay Republican because they can not vote in the same party as blacks and social liberals...there may be a push to get the surviving Republican Kongress persons to support an economically Progressive agenda...on jobs, health care, pensions and social security...
It seems that the Democrats will be "defining the terms" in the media going forward...and if that happens; Bubba Republicans will start to see how horribly they've been duped by the Republicans....because it never was about Jesus... It was always only about Wall Street and the Greed of the International Capital and the elite Rich....
The problem is that there's a huge "hole" that the Democratic majority must dig out of...because of Republican looting, theft and incompetence...
But, as long as the Progressive message is getting out daily...
Bubba Voters should be able to rehabilitate their thinking toward a more reality based worldview...
