Condi seems desperate to get Iran to talk to the US...about anything.
This mitigates against those who say war with Iran is in the offing...
My hunch is that Dubya, Cheney and Rummy are going to have a full plate in the War Crimes area once they leave office...and they are not likely to put more aggravating circumstances before the world community at this late date...
Furthermore, attacking Iran simply would SOLVE NOTHING. JUST AS ATTACKING SADDAM SOLVED NOTHING... IT WILL ONLY MAKE MATTERS WORSE...AND TIME IS RUNNING OUT FOR DUBYA & CO TO DO ANYTHING MEANINGFUL.
