The decline of content on the NYTs editorial page is shocking...
David Brooks is boring. Friedman is virtually unreadable. And Dowd has a good column now and then...but you have to read it twice to really understand what she's saying...with Dowd nuance is everything... Its not what she says it's how she says it...
Maybe we're in a dull news cycle... Perhaps caught on the edge of the Old Era...and waiting for the New Era to begin... The Republicans are history...the only question is how many of them can we put in jail after their terms are over...
The New Progressivism is still unformed... Will it be a 1930's Redux progressivism... Or something new and "market driven?" Even the Presidential candidates are dull... Currently the field is awash with people who will NEVER BE PRESIDENT....like Hilllary and Obama.
It's hard not to be boring...when the trends are so unclear.
