In the above US News Link all the traditional good jobs are trashed...teacher. lawyer, business owner...
And all the new good jobs seem related to "helping" sick and aging boomers or retirees...from audiologist to librarian this assumes a dying population of sick retired people...a depressing prospect...!
But, if you have no manufacturing and production capabilities inside the US...that's all you have going for you...
The US economy seems to be becoming unreal...a nightmarish dystopia of the dying and underemployed.
The only bright spot is government and health care...but if the general economy collapses the only way to finance this will be to print more money which will cause hyper-inflation and ever higher prices for people who are already non-functional.
