This is what most other nations have had for years...it's what sensible economists would want...if there were no "special interests" involved...and it's what the base of the party's working class voters could get behind....IF ONLY it were offered by a mainstream candidate... Universal Single Payer Health Care could save the Edwards candidacy...

So far the Big Three candidates have allowed Kucinich to be the voice of the progressive wing of the Democratic Party... But this smacks of the last 20 years of Democratic sell out of working people in America for the special interests on Wall Street...
