What is amazing is how recent anything human is...because 100,000 years is nothing in astronomic or geological time...
My hunch is that humans are going to be a relatively short lived species... I sense that "big brain" experiments...are not very stable in the grand scheme of things...hence the great silences of deep space...
The other incredible conceit is that a world without humans would lack "intelligent life"...nothing could be further from the truth...
