The notion that education is the answer to the unemployment problme is being slowly debunked...
The only thing more education does is make workers "over-qualified" for the low level low paid "new jobs" in the US Economy...
This is not ending anytime soon...
Many people are "dumbing down" their resumes... I would expect that saying you were in prison...would be better than an advanced degree...
Because being a former prison inmate means you are probably desperate enough to work for nothing ... and take any and all crap an employer dishes out...
In fact many "manufacturing" companies have agreements with prisons or their agencies to employ their parolees in low wage jobs...for that very reason.
Being a parolee can actually get you a job...that your college degree would be useless in getting.
