Muslims could modernize their legal system...
I think the only "solution" to the oddness of Islamic Law to the modern Western world may be the Isolation of Muslim Societies....by the West...until they reform from within.
The West used to be able to ignore societies that were too out of touch with modern life...eg Sub-Saharan Africa.
But Israel and Oil forced the west into areas that were previously ignored...for decades.
The middle ages is still alive in many parts of the world... The best way to handle that problem is the real issue...
Is it ~~ Containment? Isolation? War? Cultural Exchanges..?
That's is really what this is conflict is all about...
Muslims are very happy to live the way they do...I've been to Cairo and Istanbul and seen very happy "family oriented" societies...everyone seems happy being Muslim..
And nobody drinks...like in Germany or England...and they can still have fun at night.
Support for moderate changes to Islamic Dogma...and the isolation of fanatics and extremists seems to be better than...Confrontation, Conflict and humiliating Occupations...
And that ...incidentally...is Exactly the Obama Strategy for the Muslim Countries...
