What is the Tea Party agenda...? OK...more tax cuts for the rich... But then what...?
They can't repeal Health Care because every individual part of it is popular with the public... They will have to resort to the old "process" arguments that Fox pushed during the passage of the bill...which are not really an issue now.
They can't repeal Wall Street reform... Wall Street is booming because of the Obama policies.
They don't have the guts to say what they would cut...like most garden variety Republicans...they take the course of least resistance...and just do more spending...only with Republicans the spending is on more War and Corporate Welfare...not middle and working class "social programs"...
The best part for Progressives is that the State and Local government collapse will happen just after the Tea Party takes over...so that disaster will be "on their watch"...and that will put the depression in high gear.
There is simply no cure for this structural Depression...but after November we can blame the Republicans again...
And that will be great in 2012...Obama will have plenty of Republicans to blame for the dismal economy...
What was the Tea Party really about...just a Primal Scream by the Blonds on Fox...and a few fat old guys at a couple of town meetings last August...?
