The MSM was "bias" before Fox...VERY BIAS... BUT...
The Bias was in favor of sane dialogue about real issues!!
In other words "the news" was boring and for grow-ups, policy wonks and people interested in public policy issues...usually on Sunday morning or on PBS ...
Then Fox managed to "mainstream" AM Hate Radio...whose God father is Rush...onto American evening TV...! And that changed everything...
Fox made politics into a Bar Stool Smackdown... Sort of like in the World Wrestling Federation ~ whose founder is now running for Senate...!
Fox made politics an entertaining free for all...with ranting, insults, smears, country music and screaming blonds... A Bar Room Smackdown...
While Progressives still think that politics is an graduate level college seminar...! THAT ALONE is it in a nutshell...!
Fox is really a throwback to old style 19th Century politics...when the Robber Barons where running wild...and politics was a contact sport... And free white men of property bought their votes with free bourbon...!
Sort of like today...
No wonder the intellectuals and policy wonks are so mad...!
