The Tea Party is mostly enraged at their own Republican Leaders...who duped them with wedge issues... played them for fools... And then let Wall Street trash the economy...and destroy the middle class
Solid Democrats and Progressives have been fighting for the Middle Class all along...as best they could in a system of special interest money and wedge issues...
I don't see Democrats and Progressives "throwing the bums out"...but they don't have to...
They are getting the Progressive Agenda they wanted...Health Care Reform, Wall Street Reform, some attempt to move away from the Bush Depression by using standard stimulus measures, an Energy Policy ...among others. True, it was not quick and it was not perfect...but it was a start in the right direction...
Here's the grim truth seldom mentioned in the media...Obama has done everything right in a very bad economy and in the face of insane rage from Fox News and the Republicans... The situation is still dire...because the US economy has been badly looted by Wall Street...and it may take years to dig out of the Republican Depression...
But can we really "go back"...? Or will the Republicans "be nice" this time...?
That is a risk that people will not want to take...
I personally see Fox Republicans as pure evil at a very important turning point in American History... I really don't see how pure evil can use big lies to "win" in November...
